Few things beat a modern all-American success story. Sometimes the path we start out on leads us somewhere completely different from what we originally envisioned, but the end result can be just as amazing, sometimes even more so because of the sweetness of the surprise turn of events. Back in the 70’s a young actor named Bill Adler was trying to carve out a name for himself in Hollywood, earning small guest spots on “Wonder Woman” and “CHiPs”. His star was on the rise, until the Screen Actor’s Guild strike in 1981 brought work to a screeching halt and Bill had to get crafty to support his family. He started a little company called Rainbow Belts and sold them on the famous Venice Beach Boardwalk. After a few more successes, Adler moved his family to Oregon, where he started the Will Leather Goods company, producing scrumptious leather bags, belts, and accessories. The company is founded on the idea of originality steeped in craftsmanship, durability, and sustainability, and every product is made right here in the USA. And with the purchase of every Will leather bag, the company donates a backpack to children in underfunded elementary schools. Success story, indeed!
