Giving Back

Abbadabba's gives back to the local and global community we live in through a variety of projects and partnerships.  Here are some of our Giving Back projects.

PEDS (Pedestrians Educating Drivers on Safety)

We have partnered with PEDS to promote pedestrian safety by sponsoring their Slow Down Driver campaign.

About 2000 signs have been distributed to neighborhoods around Atlanta to remind drivers to slow down so that school children and all pedestrians can be safer. We are delighted that the community embraced the campaign and that drivers throughout Atlanta are reminded to Slow Down! Soles4Souls

We have donated thousands of shoes through our participation in the Soles4Soulsprogram. This charity collects shoes and distributes them free of charge to people in need throughout the world. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away over 19 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes. We invite you to leave your gently worn shoes in the Soles4Souls donation box at any of our store locations.

Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is an environmental advocacy organization dedicated solely to protecting and restoring the Chattahoochee River Basin.

NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. is America’s premier legal organization fighting for racial justice. Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans. LDF also defends the gains and protections won over the past 75 years of civil rights struggle and works to improve the quality and diversity of judicial and executive appointments.

Atlanta Community Food Bank

Every year, the Atlanta community Food Bank works with over 600 nonprofits like food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. In partnership, they distribute over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
