Return Policy

Full-price merchandise showing no signs of wear may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Items may be returned for a refund with the original purchase receipt. Items without receipts may only be exchanged for merchandise or store credit. Items purchased with credit cards will be refunded to the original card with a receipt; cash purchases with a receipt will be refunded by cash.

CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE IS A FINAL SALE.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be reissued if lost or stolen. Returned merchandise must be in new, resalable condition in its original packaging or it will not be accepted.

If you are unsure about keeping purchased shoes and want to try them out, we recommend wearing them indoors on a carpeted floor for a short time. Shoes that show visible wear cannot be returned.

If the purchased item appears to be defective, the decision to offer a return, replacement, or store credit will be at the discretion of the store's manager

No shoes we sell are indestructible. All shoes wear out over time with normal use. You may extend the life of your shoes with regular maintenance and repair.

Refunds:
Credit card purchases (with receipt): Refunds will be credited to the original card.

Cash purchases (with receipt): Refunds will be issued in cash.
Clearance Merchandise: All clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.

Gift Cards: Non-refundable and cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.

Defective Shoes:
If shoes appear defective, they may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase with the original receipt.
Defective items may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manager or the manufacturer.

Try On Tips: If you’re unsure about keeping your shoes, we recommend wearing them indoors on a carpeted floor for a short period to ensure comfort and fit.

We know that getting new shoes is exciting, and we’re sure you may want to slip them right on and wear them out and about. However, if you are in doubt about keeping your purchased shoes, it is best to first wear them around indoors on a carpeted or clean surface. This ensures that you will be eligible for a full refund if they are not the right fit for your tastes or your feet.

If purchased shoes appear to be defective, they may be returned up to 30 days from the date of purchase with the original receipt. The choice to repair, replace, or decide if the shoes are not defective will be at our Returns Department’s or the manufacturer's discretion.

What  to Expect
Normal wear varies from person to person. Some people are "hard" on shoes, perhaps due to a twist in their step due to pronation or a grind in their gait due to balance issues.  Shoes that will last years on some people may show significant wear after a few months on others.

Cork Maintenance
Cork footbed sandals, such as Birkenstock, need to have the exposed cork sealed at all times. The original cork sealant can wear off over time. By applying a new layer of Cork Sealer over the exposed cork as wear requires, you will greatly extend the life of the shoes and avoid costly repair work.

Keep them dry! Nothing will kill shoes faster than to wear the same pair all day, everyday. Moisture is an enemy to natural leathers, cork footbeds, and other elements of fine footwear.  Letting shoes dry out naturally between days of use is a big help to extending the life of the shoes.

Keep them clean!  Clean shoes don't just look better, they last longer.  Why? Clean shoes can breathe, and the leather can fully dry out more quickly.

Birkenstock Heat Warning!
Birkenstock bottom soles will shrink and require replacement if they are exposed to intense heat, such as car windows and radiant heaters.  This is not a defect, but the result of the extra-soft EVA bottom sole. Take care!
