Meet Ian Franco

I started with Abbadabba’s in 2001 but left from 2002 – 2005 when I had the opportunity to tour all over the world with my band. It was an amazing experience and when that came to an end, the Abbadabba’s family welcomed me back with open arms.

I'm Passionate About:
I have been into classic sneakers since my dad bought me my first pair of Puma Suedes in 1988 (it also helped that the Beastie Boys rocked them!). Pumas took me into my high school years when I purchased my first pair of Dr. Martens – which we still carry at Abbadabba’s!
Classic Kicks

Since then, my Clarks Originals collection has expanded to unreachable heights – in fact, I bet I have more than anyone else in this city.When we started carrying the Saucony Originals a few years ago, it brought me back to my roots delivering papers back home in Fall River, MA. These days, I typically wear my Saucony Originals for play and depend on my Sanita Classic Staple Bottom Clogs and my Blundstone 500 Work Boots for long days on the job. I have all my bases covered. Whoomp Whoomp!

My Neighborhood - Little 5 Points
I have lived on Moreland Avenue in the L5P neighborhood ever since moving to Atlanta in 1998. I always knew Abbadabba’s to be a neighborhood staple and it soon become the perfect fit. If you haven’t visited our L5P location, please add it to your bucket list! You will not only find our store and staff to be welcoming but the whole neighborhood as well. Give us a holla!
My Hometown Sports Team
When I’m not at work, I’m at home non-stop rooting for all my hometown sports teams! Shout out to the Red Sox, Patriots (and Tom Brady), Celtics and Bruins!
My Family
