 Birkenstock and Chaco have been beloved brands for many years. One question that is often asked, however, is what the proper care and cleaning is for these shoes and how to keep them in the best shape possible. Those who wear Chaco and Birkenstock will wear them anywhere while doing just about anything—from rock hopping and running errands, to participating in everyday life events. All of these activities can be hard on shoes as time goes on and make them harder to clean! Below we will discuss the best ways to care for and clean these shoes, and how to keep them in great condition no matter where life takes you!
When it comes to Chaco sandals the cleaning process is fairly simple. Wash your sandals with a load of laundry on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent or baking soda with cold water. So it’s best to keep them away from direct sunlight for extended periods of time! Brush the suede material and footbed with a nubuck/suede brush to restore the shoes original condition! To protect the upper leather part of the shoe, apply Birkenstock Water & Stain to remove dirt. Overall, the best way to clean off Birkenstock is by simply wiping them clean with a damp cloth. If there is a stubborn stain, try soap and water!
